Summary
TSS provides powerful Braille translation with intuitive controls directly from Microsoft Word and Excel. Complete with graphics editing software and full ink support, TSS provides everything you need to utilize VP embossers to their fullest potential. Starting with TSS v7.0, TSS is available as a yearly subscription including any updates in addition to the standard perpetual license (one perpetual license complementary with embosser purchase). Perpetual licenses will require paid upgrades while subscription licenses will support future new releases.
VP Formatter
Quickly translate text to Braille and convert images to Tactile Graphics using an add-in to Microsoft Word and Excel. The VP Formatter provides expert level output with easy to use controls. With the VP Formatter you can emboss your document as seen on the screen with a single click of the mouse. For maximum control generate unlimited custom settings and reload them anytime with the touch of a button.
Tiger Designer
In Tiger Designer you can utilize your ViewPlus embosser’s 8 dot heights to edit and generate world-class tactile graphics. Quickly convert existing images or generate unique tactile graphics using easy-to-use tools.
VP Translator
Have a PowerPoint or a Text file? How about a website or other Windows application? The VP Translator can convert your text into Braille based on your preferred settings then quickly send your document to your ViewPlus embosser.

Tiger Designer:

New options for activation of high-resolution editing on TigerPlus canvases (100 DPI).

Four new Paste options:
- Paste: Opaque (regular) paste of clipboard content
- Transparent Paste: Transparent paste that honors transparent background
- Paste As Braille: Pastes only braille dots, removes graphics.
- Paste As Graphics: Pastes only graphics dots, removes braille.

New selection options:
- Select All: Select the entire canvas and put it on the clipboard
- Select Rectangle: Select a section of the canvas
- Select Area: Magic Wand tool, select a region of the same dot height

Color menu has been moved to Tools as a new sub menu. Because it is so little been used there.

Any dot height can be selectively removed from within a selection. Only active when a selection has been drawn.

When creating a new blank TDSX document it is possible to add floating primitive shapes to the embossing canvas.
All new object features include shapes like lines, arrows, pins, rectangles, triangles, and circles.
This only works for TigerPlus canvas (100 DPI), not Tiger 20!

Displaying Object Properties when object is selected. Objects can be rotated and dragged to a new position.
The size can be changed. Arrow tips can be changed. Aspect ratio of rectangles and triangles can be changed.

Select a page format and create an automatic ink/emboss alignment pattern for adjusting embossing position.

(Transform > Flatten Object)
Renders a floating TDSX object down to the emboss canvas. This removes the object and flattens it as a part of the tactile image.
(Transform > Flatten All Objects)
Do the above for all floating TDSX objects.
(Transform > Simplify Print Image)
- Trace outlines from dark colors. This removes all colored areas. Only dark colors and their outline traces remain as dots.
- Trace contour from colored areas. This option follows the edges of colored filled areas and draws dots around them.
- Colored areas to Pattern fill. This option checks colored areas and replaces them with a suitable pattern from the pattern file.
- Layer separation. This option separates all dark colors and colored areas into separate layers. The colored areas will be substituted with patterns. The dark outline layer will give fine rendition of borders and dark colors. Both layers will fused back together again into one embossing canvas.
